ITB Berlin delivers great contacts and opportunities

If we had only one day at ITB Berlin - it would have been worth the investment. While the entrance to the show was jammed with thousands of eager participants… we moved quickly through the line to enter the international conference of tourism, worldwide. While we had a number of booked meetings, some of our unplanned meetings proved to be some of the most successful.

Although the first day of ITB Berlin was a great success, we couldn’t help but be disappointed by Canada’s presence at the show. As compared to other nations such as Mexico, Thailand, China, Japan, and South Korea, Canada’s CTC presence at the show requires more Federal investment.

With Canada’s launch of a new tourism brand - “Canada - Keep Exploring” and our focus on growing inbound international travel, the Federal government needs to make the investment in ITB.
