From time to time, we come across publications that focus on Sales and Marketing and we’re always curious as to whether or not the magazine can whether the storm. I waited for weeks in anticipation of my next issue of CMO to arrive [a great marketing magazine that was pulled from publication] only to find out that the once heralded award winning marketing magazine could not survive as a free service to its network of North American subscribers.

One magazine that you should consider is Target Magazine, also free, which is available at www.targetmarketingmag.com. This free resource “covers all direct response media, including direct mail, e-mail, telemarketing, space advertising, the Web and direct response TV, and gives readers insight into such subjects as using databases and lists effectively, acquiring new customers, upselling and cross-selling existing customers, fulfillment strategies and more.”
