The Tourism Intelligence Network launches new website

The Tourism Intelligence Network has recently launched a new website, a site devoted to “strategic intelligence gathering in the field of tourism.”

Initially launched in 2004 by the Transat Chair in Tourism at the Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) School of Business Administration, the organization’s mission is:

“To locate, gather, analyze and distribute value-added information to enhance the Quebec tourism industry’s competitiveness and help its decision-makers develop forward-looking strategies.”

While the organization’s mission is to enhance Quebec’s tourism industry, there are topics here relevant to tourism stakeholders around the globe. The website offers visitors market intelligence, statistics, and tourism trends, covering a variety of topics including etourism and technology, products and activities, sustainable tourism, and transportation.
