Pricing equals positioning

Pricing strategy needs to reflect your positioning in the market. Your positioning is how you are perceived in the market. Consumers perception of your position in the market determines your percieved value. If you are pricing your attraction or sightseeing experiences higher than your competition, then you have to be perceived by consumers as delivering more value.  Your perceived value as it relates to prices in the market needs to reflect your positioning and brand strategy. Your pricing strategy is a way for your organization to communicate its value.

If you are thinking about making price adjustments the best place to do your research is with potential customers. Before making changes to pricing, do your research.
